As with most of Isaac's work, fantastic idea overall, but lacking in characterization and (non-technical) descriptions, and it can get a little "dry" at times. Asimov's plotting carry the novel through to give it four stars though, and despite the above faults I have with his writing, it is smooth overall. ...more
