Zoë Jackson-Newbold
Some books are classics because they were groundbreaking when published, but are no longer interesting outside of academic interest. This is not the case with Rebecca. Du Maurier defies genre constraints in this novel, which kept me up late wanting to see what would happen next. Rebecca oozes with atmospheric settings and sudden plot twists. This is definitely a book that will stay with me and that I’ll recommend to others.
