Woof. I love Reichl but I could not get through this. Too long by about 150 pages and no substance to it. I almost never do this but I returned the book before finishing - I doggedly kept up with the predictable caricatures for the better part of a week before calling it. Hoping Save Me The Plums is a good palate cleanser.
