What Members Thought
Tough to get into but super interesting. I can't say I loved the ending and I found the pacing a little frustrating but the nuanced character development resulted in the subtle presentation of some ideas that are still incredibly relevant today. Through my interpretation Stoker came off as incredibly feminist in a conservative Victorian era, putting forth the idea of female intelligence and capability through Mina Harker. Definitely worth a read, but not my favourite book of the time period.
