over everything that happened, i choose to cry!! 😀 ok wow let me first off by saying, very interesting and intiguing book. this is my very first ever marissa meyer book, and i have some thoughts on it!! and the title REALLY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. this book was indeed heartless but first, disclaimer:

Long before the roses were painted red
Long before a queen yelled "Off with his head!"
There was a sweet and hopeful young lady
Who wanted a bakery full of puff pastry
But more than confections, more than enough

I have mixed opinions of this book. The story was very immersive and captivating. I felt like I was in the world of the story but the romance focused on in the beginning was a bit boring and mediocre. Since this plot is very important it was annoying to read through in the beginning but I definitely think that changes later on.
