Re-Read 2021
Do you ever get to the end of a book that you have all these thoughts about, read all the goodness that the epilogue brings and totally forget you had anything you wanted to get off your chest about the rest of the book? Yeah, this just happened.
That epilogue was nothing but pure joy. Jeez.

Unfortunately, it fell a little flat for me. I don't always have the best luck with KA books...more of a love/hate relationship, but that's typically the guys. This book was an oddity because while Benny did have some ir ...more

REVIEW:
With the final Burg novel coming out soon, I wanted to get back into one of my favorite Kristen Ashley series, one that always has a mystery in the mix. I was exited to get to know more about the Bianchi family and Benny who is cousin to Cal from a previous book. I love how Ashley always ties her series together by showing her readers how past characters are doing and also having ...more

Glad to see Frankie get a happy ending after everything she went through during Vi's ordeal. I knew that I liked her, but I loved her more here.
My only problem was the overuse of the word awesome. If I was a drinker playing a drinking game, I would have been drunk by the end of this book.
Still in Kristen Ashley usual way, she wrote another quirky kickass heroine, with her very hot alpha male. Plus, as usual a wonderful epilogue that leaves this reader happy because I don't feel like anything wa ...more
