I read this book many years ago not long after it was released (2018) but was excited to get the chance to read it again since it was being rereleased by the publisher. I loved it! The main characters have a meet cute unlike anything else I’ve ever read that hooks you in right from the start! The story has just the right amount of darkness, danger, and spice to make you want to stay up late turning pages! I would definitely recommend to anyone who li ...more

I'll just be over here in my corner of shame that Whitney sent me to for not loving this book. I'm sure there's more of you that think I belong here too. Lol!
What have I learned from this reading experience? That age-gaps (larger than 10 years) are really not my thing. That I really hate when the younger of the MCs, in an age-gap, is less than... oh, let's say, 23 years old; I hate it even more when they are barely legal. I despise cliche, one-dimensional characters. I can't st ...more

This was a pretty good read from an author that I have read before. Jordan and Cole are a young couple they areforced to leave their home they find themselves with nowhere to go so they take up an offer from Cole’s father Pike to move in with him and help him with his house.
