Ok, so here is the thing. If Lucy has written it I have read it, well, save for some .5's I just haven't gotten to yet. Point being, I look forward to reading her books. She writes books that I am interested in and about people I want to know.

I just don't always love them.

I did not love this one. I did not like the setup for this one and I feel like I am normally alone but I don't think I am this time around.

Yes, please!
Okay, well actually a Sheriff and a Navy firefighter but you know what I mean.
I love a man in a uniform.
I love besties to boyfriends.
I love second-chance romance.
What I didn't love was the whole marrying his deceased brother's pregnant girlfriend.
Yeah, that wasn't necessary. And for ten years?! TEN!? Come on Seth. He could have been supportive and taken care of Jolie without having to marry her.

Dissenting review, so please don't hate me...but come on, this was so over the top. I just made a pact with myself not to spend my precious reading time on books that I'm forcing myself to finish, and that was exactly the case here for me. I know many of you loved it, and I'm so glad you did. Most of the plot, at least as much as I read, just wasn't believable. ...more

This was book 3 in the "Forever Wilde" series. This was a really good read that I loved reading and listening to. Otto Wilde has spent the last 8 years in the navy when he and his brother decided to leave. Sheriff Seth Walker grew up in Hobie Texas he was best friends with Otto as well as his first boyfriend in high school during his senior year Seth breaks Otto's heart.
