I have so much love for this series! It's been an amazing journey that I hate to see end with Brothersong. I like that this final book includes a lot of the past to remind readers where it all began and how these characters got to this point, but I felt the first half of Brothersong moved too slow. Maybe a little too much rehashing the old while I was anxious to get to the now. What a superb ending to such a highly emotional series about the humanity, flawed and otherwise, of werewolves and witches.
I loved how the story circled back to the beginning and we got to know more about Thomas. And now, I think Gavin is possibly my 2nd favourite behind Ox.
But like all the others, I just wish that I was more capable of putting my thoughts into words because for me this one got me in a very similar way to Wolfsong and all the callbacks, as w ...more
