In typical Sinners and Saints fashion ( twisted, shocking, raunchy, surprising, dirty, taboo) we get our answers to our many questions raised in the previous books. Why is Vaughn the way he is? What is up with Poppy and Lenore? How is Vicious as a dad? The journey to the answers was riveting and very hard reading, even gross at times. If this was my first LJ Shen book I’d be like WTF? ( I’m desensitized by now) This is billed as a standalone but NO WAY this should be read out of order. Go all th ...more

LJ Shen is one of the only authors I know that can make me fall in love with an a$$ even before he does anything redeemable. How in the heck does she do this? How can I knowingly walk into a book despising and loving a character all the same?
I will be honest....I was not feeling Vaughn in the beginning. Of course I knew I would love him...its Emilia and Vicious's son and its LJ Shen. But I did not mesh with him at first like I thought I would. I don't know if its because I was not looking forwa ...more

Lenora and Vaughn were amazing characters and their book was everything I wanted from the final book in the 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. I actually took my time reading it because I was sad to see these characters go. Usually I will finish a book I am dying for in less than 24 hours after release. ⁣
