Miriam finds herself face to face with the 2nd horseman, War, and instead of killing her he spares her. This lead them on the journey of their lives. With actual lives lost along the way.

The actual journey goes from Jerusalem to Egypt and beyond. No one is safe from War's duty.

The journey Miriam Elmahdy and War takes in their tumultuous relationship is fascinating to witness. War has claimed Miriam as his wife and Miriam is having none of that. He is destroying human life, while she wants to sa ...more

I loved it! It pulled me in right away, and I really enjoyed the dynamics between War and Miriam - all their angst, their attraction, their tension, the fighting, the making up 🔥, and the deep love they found in each other.

“For your soft heart, wife.” ❤️😍

And even though there were a lot of hard parts to read, there was a lot of humor throughout the story. They were quite the pair, and this story was the perfect book for me this week!

Couldnt stop

Havent read the first book just yet saw the cover for Wars book and had to know more. I will be reading book one and waiting for book 3! Couldnt put this friggin book down.
