Why? Well, I’ve waited for Rush’s book forever. And even though KA has ruined every great series of hers (almost) by adding a craptastic book at the end, I’m forging through. This series was the beginning of her downfall and I’m going down with the ship. The buddy read with my dirty girls group..........should be craptastically fantastic.

Ok, I need to preface this by saying I have a been a longtime reader of Ms. Ashley’s books. She’s written a shedload of books that have become classic comfort reads for me. I’ve read several of her books that I have not enjoyed as much. I’ve bought them, borrowed them or been given ARCs of many of her books. It never affects my opinion. I say what I feel and I feel what I say.

This is a deep dive into the things that did and didn’t work for me in this final installment of the Chaos series, so let Ok, I need to preface this by saying I have a been a longtime reader of Ms. Ashley’s books. While this final installment of the Chaos series has its moments of pleasure (mostly from seeing long beloved characters), it suffers from a lack of focus, abundantly problematic scenes and little emotional investment in the big resolution. This is only for hardcore KA fans and completists of the series.

What a ride! RUSH IS EVERYTHING! I love the different POVs. I loved Essence as a secondary character she almost made me pee my pants a couple times. Redemption, love, balance were all shown to be possible in this read and I loved it.

What a wonderful ending

Absolutely amazing! Loved how everything came together and I loved all the characters! Writing was phenomenal. Hated to know this is the end but what a way to go ❤️

This book was kinda like being stuck in a group-text. There just were so many characters and their ramblings (very Kristen Ashley). I'd say this book was like 10 novellas mashed together, and I did not really enjoy it. ...more
