River Wild & Carrie Ford
I want to start off by saying the romance portion of this novel doesn't take place until the end of the book. But...the relationship that builds up to that starts from the moment Carrie and River really start to talk to each other.
So, even though it wasn't a lot of romance it is a story of two people who have both been treated horribly by people they were supposed to be able to trust, and they see something in each other that eventually leads to friendship.
