A romance with a touch of mystery/thriller. I've read M/M romances before, but I enjoyed the way the writer developed the characters and didn't rush them into sex. I really got to like the two leads and the chemistry developed naturally. The mystery part was a bit weak, and it was fairly easy to figure out who the killer was, but I really grew to like Ty & Zane. I'll definitely be checking out more of this series. ...more

I loved the characters, story line and pace of this book. Ty and Zane are hot alone but. Together they complete Each other. I wasn't sure at first if I was feeling the drama building but I love how their job and their relationship grew with the story. This was my first time reading Roux and I'm sure it won't be my last. I loved how c,as sic literature was weaved in as part of the mystery. Very well done! ...more

I am in love with these boys, the only thing that I wished that would have been different is their fighting, there is just a little too much of that going on and I fear that it will go on in the subsequent books. But I will continue on as I am hoping that there is going to be an amazing HEA for them when all is said and done.

This book took all my pre-conceived ideas about "what makes a good romance" and turned it upside down. It was so different from what I normally read but there was a beauty in the relationship between Ty and Zane that I didn't expect.
