Archer is a beautiful soul with a horrific backstory and this was an emotional read. However, I don't think I loved it quite as much as I imagined I would after the many years of build-up. Partly because a lot of the external conflict was so grating (I wanted to STRANGLE Travis), and some of it was incredibly predictable (Travis and other stuff) and the whole Justin thing was totally unnecessary and added nothing to the story.

Loved, Loved, Loved this book! This is my favorite romance read of the year. It was a sweet story, with a slow build to the romance, which I enjoyed as you don't findthat too often. It was interesting to read a book with a man who was so sheltered and not really a part of the mainstream society since childhood. I highly recommend this book to all of my friends.
