All the "I got's it" stars and then some!

This was sheer perfection, it really was. I couldn't have asked for a better second chance romance, in fact I think it's got to be one of the best I've read and I've read a fair few of them. There is not a single thing that I would have wanted changing, the author nailed it 110%.

I absolutely loved this book about second chance romance, which I normally try to avoid. For some reason, it was a comfort read for me, not as much angst as I expected.

Hollywood’s “IT” boy is tired. Tired of Hollywood and all that goes with it. The women, the fame, and most of all, the paparazzi and their lies. Solid 5 "I love you more than..." Stars!!

So very good. Much more than I expected from this book when I picked it up. An emotional and slightly angsty second chance romance. The reason for the original breakup was legit, not stupid and I loved both Kennedy and Jonathan. I was rooting hard for them. Maddie, their daughter was a sweetheart. 💗💗

I could go on, but no time. In short, I loved it, and highly recommend it. I'll be looking for more books by this author. Happy reading!!

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. Not a completely unique premise, but at the Same time, a little different as he was the "famous guy" who has found sobriety amd is trying to make up for not being there for his child and his former love. I'm not usually a fan of the past/present format, but the way it was done here, through her high school writing storytelling for the past, really worked in my opinion. ...more

4.5 stars... This was my first time reading this author's work. She's definitely talented!!! This book got me out of my reading slump. It had all the feels, addicting as heck MC's, an adorable little girl that stole my heart and poetic style writing that I devoured. It was a great second chance romance read. I definitely want to check out more by this author. I probably own a few of her books, just haven't gotten around to reading them! ...more

Ao entregar-se aos vícios do álcool e das drogas e à vida boémia de Hollywood, para além de Kennedy não o quer ver, também não está em condições de conhecer a filha de ambos, a pequena Maddie. Ao conhecermos o super-herói de banda desenhada que Jonathan dá a vida no filme Ghosted, Breezeo, é possível verificar algumas semelhanças com a história de vida de Jonathan e Kennedy.

Para além de nos mostrar o lado menos glamoroso de Hollywood, também mostra que devemos saber quando pedir ajuda, e deste modo, conseguir lutar contra os nossos demónios e também saber valorizarmo-nos quando o estamos a conseguir. Outro aspecto que toca é o de não devemos desistir dos nossos sonhos/objectivos em prol dos outros: “Never make someone else the main character in your own story.”

Gostei do que li, tem uma boa dinâmica, flui perfeitamente entre o passado/presente, as personagens são credíveis e fáceis de simpatizar. Uma leitura muito agradável e querida.

Swoon worthy hero, who kept me up most of the night. I did suffer the next day from lack of sleep but It was worth it. It’s been a while since a book did that. I keep saying that I don’t like the whole actor main character but I don’t know I love this book and Eversea might make me reconsider.
