OMG creo que estoy enamorada de este libro, pero qué bonito y POR FIN un protagonista que comete fallos y sabe como enmendarlos y una heroína que no se arrastra a sus pies cual criada! Tiene todo lo que iba buscando desde hace meses, segundas oportunidades, arrepentimiento, angst y está lleno de fluffy! Estoy en el séptimo cielo, gracias a Vir por la recomendación, de verdad que merece mucho la pena!

Decided to dip my toe in the Kindle Unlimited world. Never had the need for it, or at least I didn't think so. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the books offered.

Ghosted by J.M. Darhower is that warm blanket on a cold night. I'm a sucker for romances that focus on forgiveness and redemption. Add in a bit of Hollywood charm, an incredibly adorable little girl named Maddie, and you have an amazing recipe for success.

Simply put, I couldn't stop reading. I finished in one sitting with a little na Decided to dip my toe in the Kindle Unlimited world. Never had the need for it, or at least I didn't think so. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the books offered.

Simply put, I couldn't stop reading. I finished in one sitting with a little nap in between my frantic pace. The characters in this story are so incredibly real, passionate, funny, and flawed. When I read a story I always look for some connection, something to make me feel like I'm a part of the story. It's often a character, or a maybe even a setting that I can somehow relate to. Those connections are what helps you become emotionally tied to a story. Ghosted was written so beautifully, so eloquently, that I felt connected to the entire story, the entire time. I've never been to Hollywood. I have no knowledge of that life. But this story wasn't so much about that as it was about relationships.

Jonathon and Kennedy's relationship squeezes your heart until it's painful. Telling the story in past and present wasn't the genius part of this story. Telling the past part of this story as Kennedy writing a story using Jonathon's voice was absolutely brilliant. Sounds a little confusing and it is at first, however the magic it creates in defining who these characters are and why they are, it's gold.

Precocious Maddie stole the show for me. The minute she walked onto those pages, I knew she was going to be the glue in this story. Once you become a parent your life immediately changes. Children completely change the way you view the world. We become hyper focused on their happiness, their well being, and we guard their hearts for them as much as we can. But children are incredibly resilient, innately happy, and see the world innocently. Parents will do anything for their children. The love, the bond, is that strong. And that comes through in spades with both Jonathon and Kennedy.

I can't say enough about this story. I hope you take a chance on Ghosted. J.M. Darhower is an engaging author, she's able to bring something truly special to her stories that make them unique. ...more
