5++++++ STARS

I went into this Buddy Read blind, without reading the blurb or knowing anything about the story. I am so glad I did because I usually do not read N/A, but this story was a gem. It is not the usual guy meets girl and falls in love. It is more about how your choices in life can change everything.

Zelda Rossi experienced a horrific event when she was a teenager, and is struggling with the guilt. She takes out her aggression and need for revenge drawing a graphic novel, where there is a

”Tell me something else. Something good, Beckett.”
“You don’t know how beautiful you are.”

“All I can think about is you and how you’ve taken my shitty life and made every single bit of it better.”

“You are my home. Where you are is home.”

Synopsis: Zelda and Beckett (both unable to let go of things from their past) cross paths and end up agreeing to help each other out. Through their friendship and support they fall in love and fight their internal demons that threaten a happy future.

I feel truly honoured that I got to read this book as an ARC. Ah Ms. Scott where have you and your enchanting story telling been all my life? I fully hang my head in shame and say that this is my first book by this author but it most certainly will not be my last. I am fascinated by the ripples of the butterfly effect. We should all apply more kindness and compassion in life.

There are complex layers upon layers of emotions. A spectrum of emotions that bashes down any chanc

Amazing! Just amazing. I don't think Emma Scott could write a bad book if she tried, I really don't. The Butterfly Project had everything I love in my books, and I couldn't put this one down. The feels, from reading with a silly grin on my face to really hurting for them back to hugging the shit out of my kindle. That makes a book a winner for me.

I love that the author kept the story between them with no ex drama/history. It was all about them, growing from two very wounded, guarded acquaintance

5 "Finding home" Stars!

Wow! I love it. This story gave me all the feels. Heartbreak, anger, angst, hopefulness, elation.

I loved reading Zelda and Beckett fall in love. They were both such worthy characters. Their stories both so tragic in their own ways. Reading their story gave me that high you get when you're first falling in love. All the happiness, nervousness, giddiness, insecurity and hope. Then finally just jumping! This is why I read romance.

Then there was the not so subtle subtext of

I have no words right now.....
The Butterfly Project is yet another beautiful breathtaking novel by Emma Scott, she writes with such passion and heartache that leaves you in goosebumps.

Zelda and Beckett's relationship is not an ordinary love story. These two will break your heart while filling it with hope. Towards the end of this gripping, heart pounding novel.... throughout all your tears you have shed..... you will be smiling in glee when you hit the very last

4.5 'no more lost in the dark' Stars

Que boa boa surpresa.
Adorei simplesmente!
