Beautiful words, beautiful story, and above all beautiful lessons of self-less love and forgiveness. I would give this story a million stars if I could. It was such a feel good reading experience and not one single teeny tiny nitpick. It was just one of those perfect hits with perfect timing.

Mercy! This one kidnapped my heart and soul and I don’t care if I ever get them back. I absolutely loved this book. Emma Scott has created something uniquely extraordinary, special in a deeply emotional way for two of the most lovable and memorable characters I’ve been touched by in a long, long time. Not only that, but throughout the pages you’ll find some of the most priceless and meaningful quotes and dialogue in contemporary romance. This story is written with a magical touch.

Beckett Copeland – to know him is to love him. The moment he presents himself on the page it’s love at first sight. Even though he's flawed with guilt from an event he created for himself, he’s so good and kind, so sweet in an extremely handsome package. He brings all the feels you can imagine. But the boy is badly tormented believing he has no choices, and it’s going to take a very special person to rescue Beckett from the guilt and agony that drowns him daily.

And then along came Zelda Rossi – never really cared for her name when she was introduced in the Full Tilt series where she worked in Theo’s tattoo parlor - but that strong and scrappy girl just kept insisting that I love not only her, but her name, too. And I do! A tragedy from her past, for which she continues to blame herself, plagues her future and brings on severe panic attacks. Zelda is the kind of heroine that you want for a best friend. She's loyal, generous and true blue. Both inside and outside, she's a beauty.

Along with our lead characters, there are some extra-special people that play very important roles in providing much needed support. Without these characters, that extra level of extraordinary would suddenly disappear. This story would not have reached the level of perfection that it achieved.

When fate brings Beckett and Zelda together, each is carrying a burdensome weight that must be exposed and shared before healing begins. Blind to his/her own beauty and goodness to the point of self-destruction, each finds it in the other. Together they weather the storms and share memorable lessons of forgiveness and an even more unforgettable multi-leveled story of selfless and tireless support and love that you can ever imagine.

Now on a book high feelin’ the love, I know I’ll be back time and again for a refresher course from these two wonderful examples of how to live life, and more importantly, to love those in your life to the fullest in the most pure, simple, and charitable ways. I found a truly unique reading experience that doesn’t come along very often.

Give it a chance and this one will stick with you like crazy glue. ...more

Emma Scott does it again! I loved this book, it left me with a happy heart!

Both main characters were great - secondary characters were good too.

Zelda and Beckett - each having their own demons, guilt and regret - fell in love and it was a wonderful journey. Wouldn't change a thing! There wasn't any unnecessary angst, no push and pull - just a great story, sigh.

This is a beautiful story of love, kindness, and most of all, struggling to forgive yourself. Emma Scott's theme of how performing small acts of kindness makes a significant difference for the better in someone's life resonates through this novel. Zelda and Beckett won my heart, along with each others. I loved this book. ...more
