3 1/2 Not as golden as I really wanted them to be stars.

Ok, where do I begin. I don't know, so I'll start with- It took forever to get the ball rolling in this book. I almost gave up, but I just couldn't because KA has never really let me down before and I believe in her. I'm happy I pushed through to the end, because KA came through. The second half was pretty good, but until about 65% through, I was struggling. I had three other big problems with this one. Number one- Layne. I did not like him ...more

4.5 Stars...Loved the story & main characters. Seriously a lot of stuff happening with Layne trying to "fix" everything. K.A. did a great job telling this story - the flow is pretty good. There is a place or two where I feel like the conversation or telling of things drag out a little too long. But all in all, this is another great K.A. read featuring Layne, another of Ashley's dominant, bossy sexy alpha males. No one writes them better!! A Must Read! ...more

This was a re read/listen for me and although the H and h aren't my favourite couple in the series, I've still got to say I loved the story still as much as first time around!

Yet again KA does it again. Every time I start one of her books I just know I'm not gonna enjoy it as much as the last one, yet I can honestly say if I don't enjoy it more I enjoy it just as much. ...more
