The thing about rereads is you never know if 2nd time round will not be enjoyable due to gained life and book reading experience. I am glad to say this one i still as great a read as my first try.

Oh my stars! I read Bank's HQ and remember liking one a whole lot, I steered clear of her as I was not into too much kink, which seems to be what she's good at. I absolutely adore the H, he is just...soo...foine...gentle, considerate, not afraid that pda will ruin his macho image and shouting his affections for all eyes to see (literally and figuratively here). He's also someone that respects the h (by agreeing to let her do things her way), wants to know her thoughts and wants to make her happy. Oh my, he has to be one of the best H I've read thus far, in that he doesn't only says he wants to do all of the above, but he actually manages to do it without saying it.

I also adore the h, she is gentle kind and forgiving. She can also be a mama bear if hers is threatened and has the grit to weather whatever situation calls for it. I also love how open she is regarding her affection for the H. Right off the bat, she took the iniative to be with our H, no coyness no hesitation, just an enthusiam to be happy with our H, a refreshingly open attitude.

There are conflicts and twists in the story to make it very engaging to read. Besides getting to know one another, we also see how their connection grow stronger by weathering various situations that further strengthen the bond. I love there is no misunderstanding, pushing away drama, we know these two are fond of one another all through the book, and all they need to do to get to the hea finish line is to jump through a few hurdles together.

I love how smoothly this one flows, every plot and twist is there for a reason and it not only engages our interests to know more, it also helps further the relationship along.

I really dearly hope there will be more from. this series as I also love the side characters and want to know more about the story development too. ...more
