Hmmm, I'm a bit conflicted with this one. See, I adore BC's writing and as always she was on point with this one. But something just didn't work and I'll get to that.

I loved both Brooks and Maggie, loved the feels the book pulled from me including making me cry when she sent him away. Loved the side characters, Cheryl really surprised me, and I really want a Mrs Boone in my life. 2 1/2 "I could just cry because I feel so torn over this book." Stars

First of all I have to say I absolutely loved Brooks and Maggie. Their true and unconditional love for each other was inspiring and so very touching. Please understand, their relationship was beautiful. Sometimes heartbreaking, but always beautiful. I'm rounding this one up to 3 stars all for Brooks and Maggie being each other's anchor through some pretty rough storms. I kind of wanted to rate it 2 :'(

Silent waters... turbulent waters.
It's true, life is made up of moments, some more significant than others.
All it takes is one. One moment can change everything.

"Not all broken things need to be fixed. Sometimes they just need to be loved."

That's what this story is about... in so many ways and to pretty much all of the characters.

Brooks and Maggie's journey is an intense one. They relationship is like no other, as is this story.
