Another amazing book from Brittainy Cherry!!!

There are certain moments that can define your life. Altering the events that follow throughout time. For Maggie and Brooks - their moments began at an early age. Two kids that formed a bond in the beginning. A friendship that would begin through a childhood crush.

I have to admit this book was not on my radar at all! I had read the first book in the series and stopped at about the 70% mark, it was a did not finish and just thought this series wasn't for me. But then last week I saw a friends post about The Silent Waters and I stopped and took notice. I am sooooo thankful that I decided to read because let me tell you, THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ THIS YEAR! It immediately sucked me in and I devoured it!! Just ate up every word that came of I have to admit this book was not on my radar at all! I had read the first book in the series and stopped at about the 70% mark, it was a did not finish and just thought this series wasn't for me. But then last week I saw a friends post about The Silent Waters and I stopped and took notice. I am sooooo thankful that I decided to read because let me tell you, THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ THIS YEAR! It immediately sucked me in and I devoured it!! Just ate up every word that came off the page. I never wanted the story to end and for those who follow my reviews you know I don't cry. I just doesn't happen all that often. It's a rare occasion and when it does happen I shout from the roof stops about how amazing a book is. Guess what, THIS BOOK MADE ME CRY!! I had eye leakage and was like what the hell! I don't cry! Why am I crying!!???!!! This is how much this book effected me!! This is one that you cannot miss! Even though this book is a third in a series, each book is a complete standalone.

Maggie is a carefree ten year old little girl. She is a free spirit and speaks whatever is on her mind. She has already decided that she was going to marry her brother's best friend Brooks. She has even planned it out at a pretend ceremony. This day will change her life forever. Instead of a pretending to marry Brooks, she is a witness to a tragic event that will take her voice away. The evil that she witness also stole something from her, something much more than just her spirit. She is scared to leave the house fearing he will come back for her. Years go by she is still left living in fear of the devil coming back to finish what he started.

For years Brooks tries to get Maggie to come out of her shell, he is her anchor and they share a special bond that nobody can explain. He is patient with her and accepts her as she is. He doesn't try to push her but he also must live his life. He will always be there for her but as years go on he also has a dream. Maggie must make the tough decision to let Brooks go.

Just how Brooks has always been there for Maggie, there will come a time where she must be there for him. She must face her deepest fears and demons and I'm left holding my breath on how the story unfolds. I knew it would come full circle at one point or another but how it did I never expected!! This was such a heartfelt brilliant story left me forever a fan of Ms Cherry. Her message at the end of the novel was so touching and made me connect with the author on such a deeper level. I will forever be a fan and cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us!! This was a HUGE 5 star read that everyone needs to read!!
