Tayla, an Aegis Guardian, aka your everyday neighborhood demon slayer, is hurt while out on patrol and taken to a demon hospital. There she meets Eiodolon, a Seminus demon (an incubus), and sparks fly fast and hard. So hard. *eyes glaze over* what was I saying? Holy hells some hot sexy times and romance happens, while they try to figure out who’s kidnapping and mutilating demons to sell their parts on the black market.

So yes, I loved this book. It was definitely on the graphic-side, which I tend to like my love scenes a little more on the subdued side, but I couldn't help but fall for these two. Who can resist a character who can't help but love and hate her hero? The story-line was nonstop and the supporting cast just as well developed as the main.

I read backseat to Taylas journey in this book. I think I'm a character based reader because I tend to follow the lead characters emotional path rather than the plot path.
There's plenty of intriguing hooks when it comes to the hospital and I am plenty curious, but I was sucked in by Tayla.

Pretty interesting take on demons.
I find it a little unsettling to think of them as having professions just like humans, though :-)
