I loved Brent's story about his second chance at love with his teenage crush. Touching base with the rest of the gang made me very happy. The male POV is my favorite and Emma Chase is so great at it. Love the series.

If I want a well written story with lovable characters, intriguing plots, layered with witty banter, and laugh out loud moments, Emma Chase is who I run to. Appealed, I'm happy to say, is all of those things. Brent and Kennedy's story is deep in a way I wasn't expecting. Another awesome book from Ms. Chase! Like Sustained, I love the characters and the story did seem entirely plausible. Not too much angst, just enough to keep the story interesting but realistic. I really enjoyed Brent’s story, the flashbacks to his youth, and Kennedy. Very realistic actions and reactions from her. We got more time with Stanton and Sofia, Jake and Chelsea and family.
