Bravo Ms. Martinez. This book is a real beauty. With all books where the reviews are amazing I usually find the books to be mediocre at best. This is the exception! I’m also iffy when it comes to the rich and famous slutting it with the commoners. There are very few books that can pull it off and this book is one of them. The topic was on the couple not on anything else. 5 It was love at first stalk, Levee.

Definitely a reread for me.

Levee Williams is famous, she even knows Lio Bravo Ms. Martinez. This book is a real beauty. With all books where the reviews are amazing I usually find the books to be mediocre at best. Levee Williams is famous, she even knows Lionel Richie. When you read the book you'll get the remark. She has a life that many envy but she is unhappy. She feels torn between her career and being with the children she visits in the hospital. An endless loop of
Smile.
Pose.
Turn.
Toss in the occasional song.
Repeat.

Or
Smile.
Pose.
Turn.
Watch a child die.
Repeat.

And is on the road to self-destruction.

Sam Rivers is spiralling with his life after his tragic past and believe me it is f-u-c-k-i-n-g tragic. He is adorable, a natural caretaker, always there for other people just not himself. He repurposes furniture which by the way is very cool and costs a mint. The ultimate best boyfriend. He is hot, tatted, gorgeous and a smoker.

For three nights running they stand on the same bridge and enjoy the view. Levee is contemplating her life and her choices. Sam sees it all and on the third day strikes up a conversation with the woman with the designer shoes, blonde wig and big sunglasses.
And so the pattern continues.
I needed to see her fucking eyes, and then taste her mouth. Then kidnap her.

They both live in a world of pain but that pain makes them be even closer than they ever expected. Sam doesn’t necessarily betray Levee’s trust, he does it to protect her. With hindsight she realizes this but she sticks her foot majorly in the pile of shit.
There was great banter between the two.
I’m going to need you to try really hard to keep it together. You haven’t seen my six-pack and huge cock yet” “What chicken and beer?”

“Oh my God, you’re married!” “Shh! You’ll wake up my wife,” he replied, touching his lips to my temple. “Don’t worry. She’s okay with you being here. You were on the top of my celebrity sexception list.”

But you can see the love grow between them and that they struggle, well they struggle together.

“I more than like you. I hardly know you, but I want to keep you. Just the way you are. Maybe forever.”

“Shh. I gotcha,” he whispered into my hair. “Always, Levee.”< i>

Ms. Martinez tackled a highly sensitive topic in a tasteful manner sometimes one forgot what issues they were both dealing with. Mental illness, bipolar, suicide and schizophrenia. I reckon it was hard to keep a balance between the romance and the importance of the topic.

Levee’s best friend Henry Alexander is awesome and I’m so glad we get a book with him. M/M ladies. He is funny as hell.

“Henry stilled and peeled his shirt over his head, announcing, “Threesome.”
“Excuse me?” Sam questioned as Henry advanced.
“Fine, twosome, but Levee gets to watch. She is my best friend, after all.”

I really don’t know how I feel with the story with the bodyguard. I personally think it could have been left out but hey that is just me.

Levee and Sam met in an unexpected place and are instantly drawn to each other. They are both running from their demons but find solace when they are together. Levee is keeping who she really is a secret from Sam, and when Sam find out, he really doesn't care. He is crazy about Levee and knows she is exactly what he has been missing from his life. There are several bumps in the road, but as long as they are together, they got it.

WOW... This book truly took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions.... which I didn't want to get off....

I couldn't help but fall in love with Levee Williams and Sam Rivers .... as they both battled against their demons....

Both looking for that great which ensures a happy future... this book covers some very sensitive issues which were handled in a delicate way.... I truly was hooked and devoured this story in a few short hours.....
