I had a difficult time getting pulled into this one. It just didn't resonate with me like others of like subject matter have done in the past. I really liked it and Sam, especially. But I didn't love it and I think I'll blame Levee. Her personality was not as developed as I would have liked. I felt like there was so much more just beneath the surface.

There are times when I wish I more articulate so I could express to you how much I loved this novel. It was so good. This author writes great dialogue and is the master at writing great banter. This novel grabbed me and never let me go. This story made me smile, cry and laugh and when I was finished reading it I wished I could go back and read it again and savor it. I really enjoyed this novel and will be looking for this author's work in the future.
