This is one of those books that I think I would have liked more if we had gotten the heroes pov.

Roxie was quirky and seem full of self-confidence, but at times she wasn't very confident at all. It was like she had to put on a persona to be the person that she made herself into while away from home.

There was definite chemistry between Roxie and Leo, but I couldn't help the feeling that something was messing. Plus it had a few, and just a few editing issues.

Alice Clayton always writes hilarious books and this one is definitely my favorite since Wallbanger (though nothing will ever eclipse it). She always writes realistic, hilarious characters. I also like that she doesn't write men as huge alphas who have to "reform." I liked the setting for this series, too. And backdrop of food? Yum! ...more
