This is going to be brief because I'm really annoyed. So, dear Author, you are on my shit list for the damn fool move you pulled at 85%. I'm not a happy camper.

And now my thoughts on the book. Loved most of the book (see above!!), it started with a bang and I was clamming to know more about King and Preppy, two boys who against the odds became the best of friends and had each others backs. Throw in a badass biker club and a damsel in distress suffering from amnesia and I was in book nirvana.

4.5 PRAYING FOR PREPPY STARS!

Loved this story, this was my sort of book. The alpha bad boy/man hero was a rude, moody prick. Tortured and tormented with one goal meets Doe a lost and lonely homeless girl. He's bloody awful to her but with a bit of time and thanks to Preppy Doe slowly gets to Mr Moody and then it's great and then it isn't!

Bloody cliffhangers the Bain of my life.

There were two things I disliked immensely in this story .......(view spoiler)

5 Stars!

If you read just one book this year, read this book! It was that good. While this author has several books under her belt, this is my first book by her but definitely won't be my last. This book was so good that not many words can describe it.

This book was intense and edgy. When I started this book, I could not put it down until the end. It completely devoured me and left me with a cliffhanger that made me want to throw my kindle across the room. Yeah, it is full of the feels and emotion

Wow. King has been on my to-read list forever. I have been patiently waiting for its release date ( by patient I mean obsessively stalking ) and was over the moon when my pre-ordered copy popped up on my kindle a day before my birthday. King was everything I hoped it would be and more. I had high expectations after reading The dark light of day. I wondered how King and Doe would compare to Abby and Jake as for me Abby is one of my favourite female characters. I wasn't disappointed. The character ...more

I went into this book blind and I was totally hooked by the end of the first page....

I was completely addicted and couldn't put the book down, I devoured it and totally fell in love with King and Doe....

I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I hoped and I was all kinds of angst as I consumed this story... I was left totally in need of tyrant.... Because it can't be the end of Doe and King.....

This book isn't to be missed.... It's simply fabulous.

Bow Down to the King .. Amazing!

King is a hard and dominate man who has some serious childhood trauma. Doe is a lost girl who has no memory of who she is. Together they find that two broken people can make each other whole... but with a past stacked against them trying to makes sense of it all is almost impossible. Great story.. gritty and raw.. characters were written flawed and real. Cannot wait until book 2

I loved this book. It was raw and gritty but had a sweet underlining. I was in tears the laughing the next minute. The characters in the book were so well explained with the right amount of detail and not to much!
