Promising possibilities. Hidden hunger. Racy risks.

Jared is a man living his life wearing a smile while hiding in his shadow. He has given up his pursuit of happiness and has resolved to make the best of it. I really enjoyed this story. Of course I don't know anything about having to come to terms with your sexuality, but I felt like Marie Sexton did a great job of showing how difficult that can be for some people, especially taking into account the things they may have heard from bigoted idiots in their family or community.

Jared is a college graduate hiding in iphis small town sheltering himself from everyone. Matt is a gorgeous hard body and newest police officer in town. Jared quickly falls for Matt, but Matt wants nothing more then to deny his feelings for Jared. There love story is plagued with drama and doubts but is an awesome quick read,

3.5 stars. I’m not a big fan of ofy/gfy books as they move at a snails pace. There is so much homophobic bs going on that it got on my nerves. I have completely read this series out of order and some of the stories I liked and some not so much. Won’t stop me from finishing off the series though. I did like them when they finally put it all out there and made a cute couple that we basically best friends.
