Well, with this reread a whole lot of KA books and 4 years later, I'm going to have to knock a star off my rating. It just wasn't a 5 star read for me this time. I didn't love Tess as much. In fact I thought she was unbelievably, almost annoyingly sweet. She did have a few BA moments though. And Brock just rubbed me the wrong way. Yet another addictive read, with a totally bad boy hot guy hero. I'm loving this series.

For me this was a 3.5 star read. I enjoyed the characters but I just felt it was missing something. I didn't fell as connected to Tess and Brock, definitely no where near the way I connected and rooted for Gwen and Hawk. It was bad just wasn't awesome. ...more
