This just wasn’t what I was expecting from an Emily Henry book. I’m rating this low because Beach Read and Happy Place were both 5 star reads for me, and this just doesn’t even compare. It also doesn’t feel written by EH and I can’t bring myself to rate it highly just because I generally like the author’s work.

In regard to the plot, I don’t think anything substantial happened until page 300, and at that point it was already 300 pages too long. I thought the setting was boring (small towns ...more

As an avid reader and a small writer myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the book!! It was a dream come true, the characters to be book lovers, who fall for each other too! Certainly haven't seen it happen in real life😂

This book was 373 pages of a whole lotta nothing. Omg I was so bored the whole time I actually can’t believe I read the whole thing. I kept hoping it would get better and it was just so boring. Not enough romance and too much filler. I wanted to like this so bad :/
