Think I liked this much better the 2nd time around. Probably give it a 5 star rather than a 4 star.

Definitely feel a bit led astray by many of the reviews on this book. I think I would have enjoyed The Folk of the Air series… when I was 13. Which is why I don’t understand why grown women RAVE about this book, reviewing it as one of the best fantasies and male love interest. It’s extremely YA and written specifically for 7th grade level readers. I went into this book blind and did the research about halfway through because I genuinely thought I picked up the wrong book that I’ve seen eve ...more
