Is it too early to say this might be one of my favorite books of the year? I don't care I'm saying it anyway. THIS BOOK ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS. IT ACTUALLY SLAYED SO HARD.

I need to collect myself fully before finishing this review...

WOAAH THIS WAS ONE HECK OF A RIDE I MUST SAY!!!!
i was planning on taking it slow with this book, enjoy it and NOT read it in 24 hours....uhhhh WELLLL (guess what happened)
this book captivated me from the start and kept me up at night! at first i was lowkey confused on the first mentioned timelines (cause some of them first chapters started like "and two days later i did that" and "three days after, i...") it just caught me of guard idk

No notes, this book was amazing. I think I will prefer this series 10x more than the inheritance series, but we will see. The first book was such a quick listen I loved it, before starting it I thought I would need to split it to finish it within days so I could return it on time but I literally listened to it in just a few hours. the whole premise of this book is that Cassie gers recruited by an FBI agent to join a group of other talented teens to assist the FBI in solving cold cases. while at this house a new case emerges that seems to involve Cassie. the plot twists had me SCREAMING. i recommend this book to everyone bc it's just that good. ...more
