What Members Thought

When the world ends, society’s institutions go with it, yet survivors keep pretending as best they can for as long as they can. Half the fun of the post-apocalyptic story is watching how people do or don’t cope with disruption. Carey does a excellent job of setting up and developing his characters by plunging them and the reader into the middle of a new reality, and making that horror become the new normal.
