Have you ever read a book that you weren't sure you really liked or even fully understood but you know that your life has been enriched because you read it? That is how I feel after reading this book. I read this for my post-apocalyptic book club and it is NOT a quick read. It is in 3 parts (or books) and the first book is quite slow and is more of a romance novel. But the next two books read a little more quickly. I tried, but I just couldn't get into this book. It just reminded me too much of reading for English class in high school. Maybe I'm just not a classics person.
