Gotta say the beginning 50% was blah this was really petty enemies to lovers but I got hooked to last half omggg! Danggg that was a lot.

'The Cruel Prince' is a story that you will want to read for hours. The beginning was slow, but eventually sped up and got so much more exciting. The worldbuilding was phenomenal and the characters had very distinct personalities. Jude was a very relatable character who wanted more than anything to be recognized and not regarded as a mortal. Good storytelling, like the characters, just took me a while to get into into and didn’t really have much motivation to finish

Looking back on this, i think my bad(ish) review to this book had to do with my sort-of reading slump at the time. I also wasn’t really into fantasy so my reaction was not so good.
