It was actually funny at times. I laughed out loud more than I ever have in a book. The banter with all the characters was great! Couldn’t put this down.

I love Emily Henry's writing style. I connect with her banter and sense of humor so much. This book had a different tone than her previous books, but I appreciated it. Spice level is at a 1 or a 2. I grew up in a toxic home and honestly connected with both Daphne and Miles' experiences and feelings regarding that. I particularly had the same experience when I was sick as a child. This wasn't triggering for me however, it was validating that my journey now to find peace as an adult isn't in isola ...more
