Absolutely amazing! This was my first Emily Henry book, and I fell in love JUST by the fact that it was set in Northern Michigan! Not to mention Miles and Daphne...and oooo the spicy chemistry there...it was all written very well! I will admit I wasn't aware that Emily Henry's books have so much spice (or maybe that was just this one, again it was my first book of hers so I'm not really sure), but I'm not complaining, not at all! I love Emily Henry's writing style. I connect with her banter and sense of humor so much. This book had a different tone than her previous books, but I appreciated it. Spice level is at a 1 or a 2. I grew up in a toxic home and honestly connected with both Daphne and Miles' experiences and feelings regarding that. I particularly had the same experience when I was sick as a child. This wasn't triggering for me however, it was validating that my journey now to find peace as an adult isn't in isola
