I received the first book in this series free through Goodreads and was very intrigued with the story. I bought books 2 and 3 because I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Not sure I'll bother with book 4.
Although there were a lot of very interesting story lines in this 3rd book of the series, it seemed as if Archer got a little lost in the story telling.

I would've given this three stars because it feels a bit soap opera ish at time, but Archer is just an awesome storyteller. This takes us through Harry and Emma's children's childhoods, Giles' political challenges, and a telenovela cliffhanger.

Loving the introduction of new characters and the focus shift to Sebastian's life. This is a great sequel to the original two Clifton Chronicles; can't wait to read the third!
