This is one of those weirdly perfect stories were nothing really happens and yet everything happens. There was much of a setting and over half of the book is told between emails, but it was delicious. Thats the only word I can think of to describe the adorable that was this book. What is it about Rainbow Rowells writing that makes you fall in love which each and every character. This plot was so character driven it was ridiculous. I will admit, it started off a little creepy. I wasn't sure how much I was going to like Lincoln. I didn't think the excuse of his ex to be a good enough one for why he was such a loner.

But then he grew on me and I started rooting for him, and I think that's what makes it a good book. I loved Jennifer and Beth, their chapters were my favorite ones.

I wish we got to see more of the couple at the end though. ...more

Really I want to rate this one 4.5 out of 5. I really enjoyed it! I particularly loved how she wrote it showing the male character being the one falling in love. It's definitely not common for authors to do it this way. The ending was a lil cheesy for me but all in all I really liked it. ...more
