A book set during WWII told in the voices of 4 teens from different backgrounds. This book tells the story of groups of refugees trying to get to freedom and the biggest maritime disaster of all time. Another good one from Ruta Sepetys.

wow! This is a book of fiction based on the refugee ship that sunk during WWII. This was a great story, tragic sad but a great survival tale!

A beautiful written story that brings an event I was unaware happened to life. Most of the characters were likable, and the ones I didn't care for I think were meant to be disliked. I had a feeling the moment they arrived where the story was going, but to learn it was based on a real life tragedy was so sad. I think fans if historical fiction will love reading this book, I know I did.

I adored this book from start to finish and I will definitely check out more novels by this author in the future. I loved the writing, the characters and how this book took me on a journey as if I was a character. I liked how the author dealt with the difficult issues that are in this novel because she knows how to portray them correctly and you can tell that she has done her research. I would definitely recommend this book whether if you love Historical Fiction or if you don't know

A fictional story about a very little sea accident during WWII. Very depressing but interesting historically.
