Shelves: own, 2014, sci-fi, young-adult, kindle

Not a bad sci-fi story. A little like the Twilight series - some of the formula poured over into here. I feel like the creativity level was a lot higher as Meyer was working with an alien species of her own creation and not necessarily the myths and legends of the vampires and werewolves.

My only issue is that it seemed to drag on a bit at times. This was only compounded by its length. This is one of those books that I think could have benefited with a trimming.

Es el primer libro que leí de Stephenie Meyer ya que crepúsculo no me llamo la atención leerlo, no sabia como era su forma de escribir y si me gustaría.
y bueno ME ENCANTO, las paginas casi se pasan solas, lo termine muy rapido lo cual me sorprendió, ya que es muy gordo y pense que tardaria mucho leyendo.
Las primeras 100 paginas si son algo pesadas, porque te explicar todo eso de las almas, y lo que le paso a la tierra, etc. pero de una manera muy...¨rara¨ si no hubiera visto el trailer de la p ...more

Difficult to get into at the start but then it just got better and better! By the end I was in love. Not only with the book itself but its characters and maybe also because Ian and Wanda are a beautiful couple...
