Shelves: sci-fi, audio, 2016, series, post-apocalyptic-dystopian, young-adult, library

This was very enjoyable! Some action, some sci-fi, some OMG, and some lusting (not too much romance yet). Here are some key review points:

- The science and politics in this book are very interesting. A little complex so as to not seem lazy, but not so complex that you want to give up.
- While there are shades of the original Cinderella story, it did not feel forced or cheesy.
- There is enough Sci-Fi in this that I think YA lovers who hate Sci-fi would not like this

Shelves: young-adult, sci-fi, dystopia, 2015-up-to-the-read, thrilling-ending

I didn't expect much from this book, and after reading 5-8 pages I already wanted to put it down but half way threw I got hooked out of nowhere. Futuristic/ robotic world isn't my type but Cinder had just the right amount to intrigue me without getting me bored.

Plot: A disease - Leutmosis - is spread all over the world and earth is in discussion of peace with Lunars who live on the moon. We follow Cinder, a female cyborg who goes from her normal life to a life changing one. The plot has a clos ...more
