The more time passes, the less I like it. Downgrading to 1.5 stars. (I listened the audiobook, so I don't know how to spell any of the characters' names.)
This looks like a book you write at 14 when you're aspiring to be a reader. It's good practice, and has potential, but when it's done, you move on to write something else that'll be really good.

Whether it was the procrastination that prevented me from studying for my finals, or the sheer awesomeness of this book, I couldn't tell you, but I could not put this book down. Recently, I haven't found a book that I truly enjoyed, until I came across this one. I loved the characters, the plot, the setting, everything. I really liked the premise of this book. I found myself wanting to know more about the assassin's past as I found it hard to relate to her. Thankfully, we do slowly start to unravel how she came to be this way. I found the real heart of this book and the p.o.v I connected with most, was Captain Westfield. An interesting read with lots of action.
