Somewhere between a 3 and 3.5 stars
First of all, I loved the magical realism in this book! It was truly well done, and the fact that the magic was linked to food was right up my alley. I really enjoyed how important the art of cooking was throughout the book, and the fact that the major recipes were scattered in the chapters made it even more enjoyable.
