Funny Story in Read Ahead's 2024 Read-a-Thon

Solid 3.5-4! Love how easy it is to fall into Emily Henry’s books. And also really enjoyed the way this one explored a range of relationships—romantic and platonic—on a journey to heal from the one you thought would break you.

Typical Emily Henry rom com. Not the hugest fan of hers tbh (personally think there are authors who write similarly but better), but I was also kind of distracted while reading towards the end where it’s prob supposed to be the best part so 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ending was cute how it tied the whole book back to the title and the very beginning of the book

Always 5 stars for Emily Henry. This doesn’t beat out Happy Place as my favorite, but I think this is the book of hers I’d most like to see adapted into a movie or a limited series. The only thing I would’ve liked to see explored more was Daphne’s relationship with Sadie. I just loved it!
