reread review: Had so much fun reading this again!! Definitely picking up on some clues about the Maasverse that I didn’t before🤭

i went into this book pretty skeptical and i probably wouldn’t have read it if it wasn’t for book club, but i’ll give credit where credit is due. I loved how fast paced and well written this book was. it took me a bit to get into it, but once I did it was hard to put down.

Why is everyone such a hater of this book?? Hello?? Let me start by saying I don't read a ton of fantasy- or at least I haven't since I started reading again as an adult. But THIS. Made me feel like I was twelve yrs old reading harry potter/twilight/hunger games/insert Y/A novel here. It was soooo good. Couldn't put it down I was so excited to keep reading it. little slow to start but the last 1/4 was especially enjoyable, I couldn’t put it down. bits and pieces reminded me of fourth wing which made my heart happy <3 so excited to read the next one!!!!!!!
