Wow. Give me more

I believe I need to go onto The Assassin's Blade next. Heir of Fire, whilst slow at first, perfectly sets up for the next book!

4.5⭐️

Damn. This one was good. A lot of world building because the story takes place in another world of sorts, but I loved it. It all built up to a very thrilling ending that keeps you hooked on the story. This one had a lot of characters and plot lines at once but I think it was done really well.

It took me 250 pages to get into this book. I read three prior and was surprised by how much this one didn’t grab my attention. Then after the 250 pages I was hooked. I wish the whole book had been from the start so I could give it a five

What a fun journey. Celaena continues to grow beautifully, I love seeing her move through all her darkness and only grow brighter from it. Love the new characters and reading their journeys (hey, Rowan 😏) as well. I’m also glad I get to see Chaol still because although he didn’t always make the best choices he’s growing too and still holds a place in my heart. ❤️

This book truly holds my heart. It’s my favorite out of the whole series and that’s just a review of how it made me feel. I cried so much during this one that I honestly didn’t anticipate.
