4.5 ★ (rounded up to 5 for the overall summers-in-michigan nostalgia that was so realistic and relatable)
“All those moments throughout the days, weeks, months that don't get marked on calendars with hand-drawn stars or little stickers.
Those are the moments that make a life.
Not grand gestures, but mundane details that, over time, accumulate until you have a home, instead of a house.”

Emily Henry never disappoints. I am so happy to have a book for the hater girls who are suspicious of lifelong friends who are obviously in love with each other. This book was so well written, and I fell in love with Miles and Daphne’s banter and relationship. The wit, the atmosphere, the characters….all 5/5.
